It's time we made a habit of complimenting women of all ages when they are dressed beautifully. Whether it's a long skirt paired with a lovely blouse, a delightful dress or an especially fetching hat, we need to encourage ladies in their femininity. We've created some sample cards you can carry in your purse to hand out to Uncommonly Feminine Objects (or Uncommonly Feminine Ladies -- whichever you prefer) whenever you spot them. Take a moment to stop the lady, smile, thank her for her lovely outfit and the breath of fresh air she brings to the world. Then hand her a card so she'll remember the moment. Cards come in two sizes -- business cards that are easy to carry in your purse or wallet and larger half-sheet flyers that are a bit more detailed and include a poem. The larger flyers would fit easily into a totebag (or a diaper bag!) and could be printed on heavier cardstock to keep them from getting wrinkled. The UFO card samples shown below are JPEG scans and will not print out as nicely as the downloadable PHP files we also have available. If you have any Microsoft Publishing software on your computer (like "Home Publisher"), you'll be able to download and print the PHP files. The business card file will automatically print an entire page of business cards (which you can cut apart -- or you can use perforated business card paper). We have a color and a black & white version of each. The black and white ones are a bit easier to read, but the ones with hints of pink in the text are lovely. Click on the thumbnails below to see each card sample. You can even e-mail the JPEG images to friends to praise them if you have no way to print cards. The "UFL" cards are in PDF format, which means you can download them and view/print them with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Naturally, we hope you'll be inspired to create your own beautiful cards of encouragement! And even if you don't have a card on hand, remember to smile and compliment those ladies who are making our world a more beautiful place!
