Thank you so much for this great post! :-)

I would only add one small item to your excellent point, "Embrace the gift of children, whenever they come!" I completely agree. I do have some young friends who have found themselves pregnant and (usually) single; their boyfriends didn't have any interest in raising a child. I always try to do something nice for them ~ whether it's cooking a healthy meal (with plenty for leftovers!), sewing baby blankets, or offering to drive them to prenatal appointments. I am sure that other women here have many great suggestions on how best to serve such women!

Ministering to single mothers is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the gift of life and help the baby get off to a good start. :-)

Blessings,
Luci

Oh, I just wanted to add that YES, please do celebrate every child and pregnancy. Enthusiasm generally wanes after the 2nd child, especially if they're spaced close together. This has always bothered me.

I love those fetal models. I saw them at a pro-life booth at a fair once and I was able to show someone that THAT is what my 11 week old miscarried baby really looked like! I cannot believe how many people still believe babies are just blobs of unformed tissue until at least half-way through the pregnancy!

This pregnancy has been my hardest yet and I've told people the truth. I AM in pain and discomfort and it is HARD. It is almost always followed with, "Oh, this must be your last then." It always fun to answer them, "No, it's not."
